President: Leidy Valencia '09
As president, Leidy presides over the SGA, which represents student concerns to administrators and faculty and determines policies that directly affect students academically, socially and personally. She serves on the Priorities, Planning and Budget Committee and is a member of the Student Trustee Liaison Committee. Leidy, an economics and international relations double major, is from Pawtucket, R.I.

Presidential Associate: Claire Gould '10
As the presidential associate, Claire is responsible for maintaining and organizing the records and files of the SGA. She prepares the agenda for the assembly meetings, maintains accurate minutes of the SGA assembly and executive board meetings, and keeps a record of all SGA legislation and amendments. She is also a member of the Student Trustee Liaison Committee. Claire, an English and religious studies double major and art minor, is from Groton, Conn.

Parliamentarian: Ashley Clinton '09
As parliamentarian, Ashley ensures that the SGA assembly follows procedures under Robert's Rules of Order. She will be the coordinator between students, faculty, staff and the SGA committees. She is also a member of the Student Trustee Liaison Committee. Ashley, of Cooperstown, N.Y., is majoring in psychology.

Vice President: Harris Rosenheim '09
As vice president, Harris chairs the Finance Committee and serves as the liaison between the SGA and student clubs and organizations. He is responsible for keeping record of SGA finances and must regularly report them to the SGA assembly. He is also a member of the Student Trustee Liaison Committee. Harris, of Wayland, Mass., is majoring in economics.

Chair of Diversity and Equity: Welbith Mota '10
Welbith is responsible for dealing with all issues related to diversity and concerns of the under-represented students at Connecticut College. He presides over all meetings of the Cultural Diversity Committee. He also serves as a liaison between the Unity Student Steering Committee (USSC) and the SGA. As chair of diversity and equity, Welbith is a member of the Student Trustee Liaison Committee. Welbith, who is from Torrington, Conn., is aiming for a self-designed major in “Ethics and Society.”

Chair of Academic Affairs: Keith Farrell '09
As chair of academic affairs, Keith acts as the student liaison between students, faculty and staff regarding all student-related academic issues on campus. He coordinates academic department advisory boards and represents student views on curriculum, staff appointments, tenure and other related issues to academics at the College. He is also a member of the Student Trustee Liaison Committee. Keith is a mathematics and government major from Groveland, Mass.

Chair of Residential Affairs: Andrea Burt '09
As chair of residential affairs, Andrea coordinates House Councils, which focus on the quality of life in the residence halls. She serves as a liaison between the Office of Residential Life and Housing and the SGA. She also chairs the Board of Governors and is a member of the Student Trustee Liaison Committee. Andrea, who is from Asuncion, Paraguay, is a government and self-designed “Development as Empowerment” double major.

Chair of Judiciary Board: Michael Escosia '09
As Judiciary Board chair, Mike oversees and executes all judicial functions in conjunction with the Associate Dean of Student Life. The Judiciary Board is comprised of two representatives elected from each class who review student violations of the College honor code and set penalties. Mike is also responsible for the matriculation of all new students, and is a member of the Student Trustee Liaison Committee. An economics and international relations double major, he lives in Henderson, Nev.

Public Relations Director: Raja Kelly '09
Raja has many responsibilities as public relations director, including chairing the election board, which is responsible for coordinating all SGA elections and referendums, and keeping the student body informed about various student government issues. A dance and English major, he is from Long Branch, N.J.

Chair of Student Activities Council: Gili Ben-Yosef '09
As chair of the SAC, Gili is responsible for developing and implementing major campus events including Harvest Fest, Winter Formal, and Floralia, the College's spring celebration, as well as dances, concerts and off-campus events. She is also a member of the Student Trustee Liaison Committee. Gili, who is studying sociology-based human relations, is from Great Neck, N.Y.
